Agartala, 14th March 2026: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Agartala-Akhaura Integrated Check Post and Land Port this morning to review its operations and facilities.
On arrival at the Agartala Land Port, the Governor was welcomed by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar. He first inspected the passenger terminal building, where officials briefed him on passenger movement and related services.
Later, the Governor attended a meeting in the terminal’s conference hall, where a presentation was made on the functioning of the land port. Manager Debashis Nandi provided detailed information about its operational procedures and various activities.
Following the meeting, Governor Nallu toured several key areas of the port, including the cargo building, cold storage, warehouses, and other facilities. His secretary, Uttam Kumar Chakma, accompanied him during the inspection.
