Tripura BJP Secretary Files Nomination for ADC Polls, Pledges Transparent Governance

Agartala, 25th March 2026:  Tripura BJP state secretary Devid Debbarma filed his nomination for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections on Tuesday at the Khowai Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office, expressing confidence in his party’s prospects.

Debbarma said the BJP is ready to take charge of the TTAADC administration, emphasizing that the people of the region are seeking progress and positive change. He highlighted the party’s commitment to a transparent and corruption-free governance model.

Speaking about the upcoming elections, Debbarma credited the leadership of Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya for galvanizing support. “The enthusiastic turnout at our rallies and the active participation of our karyakartas reflect a strong mandate from the people. The Janajati community is keen to see a ‘New Tripura’ and a ‘Viksit Tripura’ come to life,” he stated.
