Medical representatives raise objections over recruitment process in Tripura

Date:

Agartala, 9th April 2026:   The People’s Association of Medical Representatives and Industrial Technologists has alleged irregularities in the recent recruitment process announced by the Tripura government.

According to the association, a government notification issued on April 09 last created several new posts on deputation. Written and oral examinations have already been conducted, and 27 candidates are set to be appointed to government service under these posts.

However, the association claims that many qualified medical representative candidates who had previously registered for the examination were excluded from the final list. They argue that the registration process was flawed and that several eligible candidates were unfairly left out.

In protest, the association has demanded that the recruitment process be halted and reopened, allowing all medical representative candidates who had registered earlier to be properly considered. They insist that the current procedure is invalid and must be corrected before appointments are finalized.
