Arka Gurukul kick start their new session of 2026-27

Agartala, 29th April 2026:  Alongside various social activities, ‘Arka Gurukul’ run by NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT) – the state’s leading Science and Technology organization is extending selfless support and cooperation by providing free education/ coaching  to young boys & girls  from under privileged families of Sekerkote and  nearby areas from Class II to Class V. The academic session  2026 – 27 of Arka Gurukul was inaugurated today at the conference hall of Arkaneer, Sekerkote, West Tripura.

The inaugural address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Shantipada Gon Chaudhary, eminent scientist and Hony. President of NBIRT.  He advised the younger generation to become more true human beings and also to follow the advises of the eminent thinkers for establishing themselves in the society. Dr. Gon Chaudhury further explained the objectives of Arka Gurukul to the invitees, parents of the  students present at the event. He further highlighted the Arkaneer’s continuous efforts for providing meaningful education through playful learning methods along with computer education, general knowledge, painting, spoken English, educational tour etc.. He also outlined the future plans for the development of the initiative. Around twenty students of various schools along with their parents attended the said event.The said event was also graced by the Executive Members, Activists, Principal & other faculties and other associated staffs with NBIRT. 

At the beginning of the event, existing students of Arka Gurukul welcomed the freshers with bouquets and chocolates, to make the occasion memorable for the students, a cake cutting ceremony marked the formal beginning of the academic journey for this year.

In the same event, the organization also extended farewell greetings to students who have passed out from Arka Gurukul. All three students rewarded with a certificate and a memento by NBIRT. Great enthusiasm was observed among the students. At the end, the delightful program came to a close with an expression of gratitude.
