Pradesh Youth Congress raises NEET issue, demands action against alleged paper leak

Date:

Agartala, 11th June 2026:   The Tripura State Youth Congress on Thursday raised concerns over the NEET examination controversy and demanded accountability from the central government over the alleged question paper leak issue.

A press conference was organized at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan here, where Youth Congress President Neel Kamal Saha, Senior Vice-President Rakesh Das, and Sadar District Youth Congress General Secretary Dr. Parthapratim Pal were present.

Addressing the media, Rakesh Das alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have taken a clear stand on the NEET question paper leak controversy, considering the future of lakhs of students across the country. He claimed that while the Prime Minister speaks on several issues, silence on the NEET matter has raised questions among students and their families.

Das further alleged that large-scale irregularities and corruption had occurred surrounding the NEET examination, creating uncertainty among aspiring medical students. He demanded that the central government take responsibility and ensure justice for the affected candidates.

The Youth Congress leader also announced that a protest programme would be organized on June 15. Through the agitation, the organization will demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and seek an impartial investigation into the alleged NEET question paper leak incident.
