Agartala, 12th June 2026: A demonstration on drone operations and emerging aerial threats was conducted by Assam Rifles for CISF personnel at Agartala Airport (Old Terminal) on 11 June 2026. The session focused on modern-day challenges pertaining to CISF and the best ways to counter them through timely detection, effective response and coordinated action.
The interaction covered drone identification, detection and mitigation methods, safe interdiction procedures, legal aspects and practical measures to safeguard critical aviation infrastructure. The lecture also highlighted the need for inter-organisation synergy among AssamRifles, CISF, Airport authorities and other stakeholders to strengthen overall security preparedness.
The initiative underscored the spirit of working together for national security, with emphasis on unity, vigilance and coordinated response. Senior officials and CISF personnel appreciated the session, which reinforced the importance of being united for the nation’s security.
