Cycle rally marks International Women’s Day at Kadamtala

Agartala, March 05, 2023: Aiming to implement the slogan “Healthy Women, Healthy India”, North Tripura District Health and Family Welfare Society in collaboration with the Udbhaboni Samajik Sangstha and National Urban Health Mission on Sunday organized a cycle rally starting from Kadamtala Community Health Centre to mark the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 08 next.

Dr Arunab Chakraborty, Chief Medical Officer of the North Tripura district inaugurated the cycle rally at 9 am. A seminar was organized on that day as part of the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” program. Dr Sandip Deb, Medical Officer of Kadamtala Community Health Centre was present on the occasion. Dr Alok Kumar Dhar, District Program Officer NPCDCS, Dr Sunetra Sharma, Dio-DSO North Tripura, Snigdhartha Ghatak, HDPM, North Tripura, National Award-winning Niranjan Nath, Ranadip Rudra Pal, the head of Udbhabani Samajik Sangstha. Students of various schools, volunteer and ASHA workers of the Nehru Yuva Kendra and members of Udbhabani Samajik Sangstha participated.

The rally was conducted by Saikat Das, a member of the Udbhabani Samajik Sangstha.
