Agartala, 18th June 2026: Soon after the appointment of the BJP state president, the party has also started changing its district presidents, as the party has appointed new presidents for Khowai and Sepahijala (South) districts respectively.
In an order, BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma said that State President Abhishek Debroy has appointed the under-mentioned as District Presidents of BJP, Khowai Tripura District and Sepahijala (South) District respectively.
“Samir Das as Khowai District President, BJP, and Prasenjit Ghosh as Sepahijala (South) District President, BJP. This appointment comes into immediate effect,” the order reads.
BJP Tripura on Facebook wrote that Abhishek Debroy, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Tripura Pradesh, and MLA, has appointed new District Presidents for the Khowai and Sepahijala (South) organizational districts. “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the two newly appointed District Presidents. May the organization become stronger, more dynamic, and reach greater heights under their leadership,” it said.
