TBSE to hold ‘Bochor Bachao’ exams from July 6 at 26 Centres across Tripura

Agartala, 30th June 2026:  The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will begin the remaining “Bochor Bachao” examinations from July 6, bringing the 2026 Secondary and Higher Secondary examination process to its conclusion.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury, President of TBSE, said that while the Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations had commenced long ago, the examination process is yet to conclude as the “Bochor Bachao” exams are still pending.

He informed that the examinations will be conducted at 26 centres across the state. To ensure smooth conduct of the exams, TBSE will hold a meeting with the in-charges of all 26 examination centres on July 2. During the meeting, board officials will brief the centre in-charges on the rules and regulations, discuss logistical issues, and review the challenges, advantages, and preparedness for conducting the examinations.

According to the board, the district-wise distribution of examination centres is as follows: West Tripura – 5 centres, Unakoti have 2 centres, 4 centres in North Tripura, 2 in Khowai, 6 in Dhalai, 2 in  Gomati, 3 in South Tripura and 2 in Sepahijala.

TBSE officials expressed confidence that the examinations will be conducted smoothly with adequate preparations and coordination across all centres.
