Agartala, 6th July 2026: The Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, has stepped up its preparations for the upcoming Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026, which will take place on July 9–10 at the International Fair Ground, Hapania in Agartala.
A senior-level review meeting was held at IT Bhavan in Agartala, chaired by Jeya Ragul Geshan B., along with departmental officials, consultants, and other stakeholders. The session focused on reviewing readiness for the event and finalizing arrangements for the department’s participation through a dedicated IT pavilion.
The conclave is being positioned as a major platform to showcase Tripura as a growing investment hub. The state government is targeting potential investments of around ₹1 lakh crore through the event, which is expected to be inaugurated in the presence of Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
More than 20 exhibition stalls will be set up by various departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings, highlighting development projects and investment opportunities under a unified theme. The organisers expect participation from roughly 500 delegates representing both domestic and international sectors.
Invitations have been extended to embassies, high commissions, and global consultants. Countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Maldives, and Uzbekistan have already confirmed participation, while representatives from Russia and Indonesia have also expressed interest.
