Governor urges Tripura University to prioritise research, recruitment and campus development

Agartala, 13th July 2026:   Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Debabrata Das met Tripura Governor and Chief Rector Indrasena Reddy Nallu to discuss the future roadmap for Tripura University.

During the meeting, the Governor emphasized the need to strengthen high-quality research, expedite recruitment to vacant positions, improve administrative efficiency, and promote a disciplined work culture across the university. Campus development also figured prominently in the discussions, with a focus on enhancing infrastructure and creating a better academic environment for students and faculty.

The meeting underscored the commitment of the University leadership and the Chief Rector towards strengthening academic excellence and institutional development.
