Agartala, March 11, 2023: Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof Dr Manik Saha on Saturday met the President of India Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
Taking this to social media handles, Dr Saha wrote “Paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji in New Delhi today at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Grateful to Hon’ble President for her blessings and good wishes in my second tenure as Chief Minister of Tripura.”
Sources claimed that the Chief Minister has also invited her to visit Tripura and shower blessings for the progress of people and development of the state.
After being sworn-in as the 11th Chief Minister of Tripura in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union Home minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda at Swami Vivekananda Maidan here in Agartala city on March 08 last.
Along with the Chief Minister, 8 other ministers also took the oath of office and secrecy in the presence of the Chief Ministers of Nagaland, Assam and Sikkim.
Thereafter, the portfolios have been distributed among 8 ministers and Chief Minister. Dr Saha kept all the important departments with him.
