Agartala: March 12. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today met the Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar at New Delhi.
Earlier, CM Dr Saha met with President Draupadi Murmu, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP national president JP Nadda and Defence minister Rajnath Singh.
Today he met the Vice President and wrote on his Facebook, “Glad to meet Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankar Ji at his residence in New Delhi. Grateful to Hon’ble Vice-President for his blessings & warm wishes”.
Though no such discussion was held between them but the CM is expected to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow where he would raise the issues like cabinet ministers, understanding with TIPRA Motha and other organizational issues.
The CM has also met residents of Tripura who are living in Delhi and said, “Yesterday met the sisters & brothers of Tripura staying in Delhi. For past several years they have been staying here & working professionally. I also discussed the vision of our government & the theme of ‘Unnat Tripura, Shrestha Tripura’.”
