Rs 50,000 PM National Relief fund aid sanctioned for Agartala Resident’s Treatment

Agartala, 15th September 2026 :Financial assistance of Rs 50,000 has been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the advanced medical treatment of Soham Pal, a resident of Ramnagar in Agartala.

MP Biplab Kumar Deb expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the medical assistance.

In a social media post on Monday, Deb said that after the matter concerning Soham Pal’s need for advanced treatment came to his notice, the application was promptly forwarded for consideration under the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. The application was approved within a short period, and Rs 50,000 was sanctioned for his treatment.

The MP further said that similar applications seeking financial assistance for advanced medical treatment had also been forwarded in the past, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had considered and approved almost every such request with due sensitivity.

Biplab Kumar Deb expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for extending financial support towards Soham Pal’s treatment.
