Agartala, 17th September 2026 : Minister Sudhangshu Das on Thursday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and credited his leadership with driving development across the North-East, including Tripura.
In his birthday message, the Minister wished Modi good health, longevity and continued strength to serve the nation. He said the Prime Minister’s dedication and sustained efforts for the welfare of the people, particularly the poor and underprivileged, have encouraged citizens to contribute to the country’s progress.
Das said the nation has been moving forward with renewed determination under Modi’s leadership, while the pace of development in the North-Eastern region has gained momentum over the past 12 years.
Referring specifically to Tripura, the Minister highlighted the changes witnessed in the state and appreciated Modi’s efforts to bring the North-Eastern states closer to the national mainstream.
Das, who represents Fatikroy Assembly constituency, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his continued support, cooperation and guidance towards Tripura. He also voiced confidence that the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ would be achieved under Modi’s leadership.
Extending his greetings once again, Das wished the Prime Minister a long, healthy and prosperous life.
