Agartala: March 23. The cabinet ministers of the state led by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today met the Food and Civil supply minister Susanta Chowdhury who fell ill and was admitted in hospital.
After finishing the cabinet meeting that held today at Secretariat the cabinet ministers including Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Power and Agriculture minister Ratan Lal Nath, Industry and Commerce minister Santana Chakma, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, SC Welfare Minister Sudhangsu Das and Cooperation minister Sukla Charan Noatia met the minister Chowdhury,
After meeting with the minister, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said that the health condition of the minister Chowdhury is better now and the hospital authority may discharge him today.
“Our cabinet colleague Sushanta Chowdhury was ill and admitted at hospital. When he was fell ill all of we came separately to meet him. But as today was our cabinet meeting, all of we cabinet ministers came here together to meet him and inquire about his health condition. Probably he will release from hospital today as he is now fine. I am praying for his good health and hope he will soon join us”, said CM.
