Agartala, 3rd October 2026 : Two meritorious students of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan were awarded financial assistance under an initiative undertaken by the school’s 1987 batch of alumni.
Speaking at the programme, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee said the former students had donated funds to the school with the objective of supporting students in the future. The financial assistance was provided from the interest earned on the donated amount.
Bhattacharjee appreciated the alumni for their noble initiative and congratulated the students, teachers and organisers. Dr Dilip Das, Secretary of the School Managing Committee and former MLA, former Headmaster Tapan Chakraborty, and Assistant Headmistress and Headmaster-in-Charge Barnali Majumdar were present at the programme.
