Patients Allege Delay in Medical Services at Panisagar Sub-Divisional Hospital

Date:

Agartala,  12th  October 2026 :  Allegations of delays in medical services have surfaced at Panisagar Sub-Divisional Hospital, where patients claimed they had to wait for a long time without being able to consult a doctor.

According to the patients, they arrived at the hospital at around 3 pm and waited for nearly an hour. However, they allegedly failed to meet the doctor and were eventually forced to leave the hospital without receiving medical attention.

The patients further claimed that they had no option but to seek treatment at private chambers, adding to their financial burden.

They alleged that such incidents were not new and that they had faced similar situations on previous occasions as well. The patients expressed concern that prolonged waiting and the unavailability of doctors at a government hospital were causing considerable hardship to ordinary people seeking medical care.

The allegations have raised concerns over the delivery of healthcare services at the hospital. However, an official response from the hospital authorities was not available at the time of filing this report.
