BY TC News Desk

Agartala, May 27, 2023: Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Animesh Debbarma has written a letter to the Chief Minister seeking permission to write the Kokborok language in Roman script. The TIPRA Students Federation was not satisfied with the reply given by the Chief Minister after receiving that letter.

In view of this, the TIPRA Students Federation held a protest program in front of the Gandhi statue adjacent to Circuit House here on Friday. The federation has accused the police of inhumanity in the movement because in that role of the police, several workers of the central committee of the federation were injured. This was announced by the leadership of TIPRA Students Federation in a press conference at Agartala Press Club on Saturday.
