Agartala Press Club to celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on August 15

Agartala, July 31, 2022 Agartala Press Club will celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on August 15 next on the occasion of 75th years of independence. This decision was taken in a meeting of the executive committee of Agartala Press Club on Sunday.

The day will be celebrated through various programs on that day. The program will start with hoisting of the national flag in the morning and will end with a get-together with the club members and their families in the afternoon, Baul Sangeet and dinner. On that special day, all club members will wear special base with logo of Agartala Press Club and logo of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

After the executive committee meeting of the club on Sunday noon, when the body of prominent writer Braja Gopal Roy was brought to the Agartala Press Club premises, the executive committee members paid tribute to the departed soul.
