COVID-19: 214 people infected, one died and 454 recovered in last 24 hours

Agartala, July 31, 2022: Tripura recorded 214 positive cases of COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 7.76 percent in the last 24 hours while one person passed away. The state Health department on Sunday released a Media Bulletin and it revealed that a total of 2,756 samples comprising 2,718 RATs and 38 RTPCRs were tested.

Among these tested samples, a total of 214 positive cases were recorded comprising 203 of RATs and 11 of RTPCRs. However, one person died due to comorbidity and 454 patients recovered in last 24 hours. Out of 214 positive cases, 34 of them are from West Tripura district, 19 in Sepahijala district, 28 in Gomati district, 36 in Dhalai district, 11 in North Tripura district, 30 in Unakoti district and 49 in South Tripura district and 07 in Khowai district, the bulletin added.Till now, altogether 25,47,101 samples were tested and 1,06,522 people were found positive across the state while 927 persons passed away and patients recovered are 1,03,768.
