Agartala, June 2: An important organizational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held in preparation for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Lane in Agartala on Friday.
The event was attended by all Mandal Presidents of the Bharatiya Janata Party Tripura Pradesh, along with Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha and Party State President Rajib Bhattacharya.
The meeting primarily focused on various organizational issues, leading to several key discussions and decisions.
One of the main topics discussed was the nine-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections scheduled for 2024. The Bharatiya Janata Party in Tripura aims to win both Lok Sabha seats and present them as a gift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Currently, the party holds two Lok Sabha seats in Tripura, and they intend to secure victory in both seats with a higher number of votes compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party and its government have always prioritized the overall welfare of the people. Both the central and state governments are working towards this goal. Therefore, the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between the party and the public. The role of Mandal presidents in fostering these relationships and empowering individuals at the booth level is considered crucial by the party.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed the responsibilities of Mandal presidents in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The implementation of various public-oriented projects initiated by the central and state governments was also emphasized. The party officials received valuable advice from the Chief Minister and the State President on ensuring that the benefits of these projects reach the common people easily. Additionally, in commemoration of the nine years of Modi’s government, the state BJP has taken the initiative to launch a public relations campaign throughout the state.
