Agartala, June 14, 2023: An awareness discussion on National Education Policy 2020 was organized in the college hall on Wednesday by Michael Madhusudan Datta College and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college.
The ceremony begins auspiciously by sprinkling water on the tree. Later the students welcomed the guests and performed the opening song. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Sabroom sub-division was present as guest on the occasion. Also present were senior teachers and teachers of various schools of the sub-division, villagers of various adopted villages belonging to the NSS cell of the college and senior students of the college.
At the beginning of the program, the convenor of Internal Quality Assurance Cell gave a welcome speech. Dr Jayanti Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor of Computer department discussed the national education policy in detail. Dipankar Deb elaborates on National Education Policy ABC (Academic Bank of Credit), Multiple Entry Exit. While discussing, Sabroom SDM Roy discussed various aspects of the current education system and appealed to the students to become good people along with their studies.
College principal Dr Anupam Guha presided over the function and discussed in detail the aims and objectives of the National Education Policy. Then Dr Benjamin Darlong, Admission Committee Convenor, gave vote of thanks. Finally, the program ended auspiciously with the National Anthem.
