Agartala, August 25, 2023: The police of PR Bari police station are getting success one after another in anti-drug operation. The police of PR Bari police station got success again in anti-drug operation late last night.
Based on secret information, the police and the border security force of No. 200 battalion conducted this operation jointly. The raid took place at the house of Dipak Das, a resident of Indira Nagar village of Kamalapur in Rajnagar block under South Tripura district. The notorious drug dealer Das was arrested along with the recovery of illegal drugs.
BSF G Branch Inspector GN Madhu, Inspector Santaram and PR Bari Police Station OC and Inspector Ratan Rabi Das led this operation as a joint initiative of police and BSF.
In this raid, Dipak Das, who is associated with the drug trade, was arrested and brought to PR Bari police station, besides recovering 70 kgs of cannabis by searching the house.
The police produced accused drug dealer Dipak Das to the Belonia court seeking remand under the NDPS Act on Friday afternoon. The case number is 2023 / 058.
