Four injured in two separate incidents in Tripura

Agartala, August 26, 2023: A woman sustained severe injuries following a collision with a tripper car in front of the Mia Bazar Mosque in Amarpur subdivision. According to reports, the incident occurred as the woman was traveling from Dalak Bazar to Amarpur when she was struck from behind by the three-wheeled vehicle.

Local witnesses immediately alerted the fire brigade, who promptly arrived at the scene. They successfully rescued the injured woman and transported her to the Amarpur sub-district hospital. The attending doctor, after providing initial first aid, referred the woman to GB Hospital for further treatment. The victim reportedly suffered two broken legs and was also experiencing bleeding from her ear. Meanwhile, Amarpur’s Birganj police station impounded the involved vehicle and transported it to their station for further investigation.

In another unfortunate incident, three individuals were injured in an auto accident in the Jangalia, Charkaban area of Bishalgarh. On Saturday afternoon, while en route from Bishramganj to Takarjala, an auto car lost control due to excessive speed, veering off the road and into a forested area in Jangalia, Charkaban. Eyewitnesses promptly alerted the Vishalgarh fire brigade personnel, who rushed to the scene and rescued the injured parties from the roadside. The injured individuals, identified as Suchitra Reang (aged 37), Rajendra Reang (aged 42), and Tanu Reang (aged 55), were subsequently transported to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for medical attention. Preliminary reports suggest that the accident was caused by the vehicle’s high speed, resulting in the loss of control.
