Agartala, September 25: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha commended the dedicated service of Bharatiya Janata Party Karyakartas and stressed the significance of focusing on booth-level activities to bolster the party’s presence in the state.

Speaking at an organizational meeting held at Rajarshi Kalakshetra, Udaipur, CM Saha shared his party journey, highlighting his pivotal role in booth management in 2019 and subsequent leadership in the membership drive, resulting in a noteworthy surge of over 6 lakhs in state membership.

“Success in collective efforts hinges on unity without division. While I have held various positions, including President of BJP Tripura Pradesh, Rajya Sabha MP, and now Chief Minister for two terms, it is crucial to prioritize strengthening the party over holding onto specific roles,” Dr. Saha emphasized.

He underlined the importance of humility irrespective of one’s position, whether as a minister, MLA, or in any other capacity.

“We must extend support by visiting constituents facing difficulties in their homes and maintaining a record. PM Modi has consistently stressed that in times of household distress, booth leaders or pristhapramukhs should extend a helping hand. This not only advances our party’s interests but also fosters stronger community ties. Our motto is ‘Seva Hi Sangathan,’ and to uphold it, we must focus on grassroots efforts. Booth leaders play a pivotal role in fortifying the party,” Dr. Saha added.

Dr. Saha applauded the tireless endeavors of BJP’s Karyakartas, noting, “The Karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party serve with unwavering dedication. This commitment has been steadily fortifying our organization, as evident in the recent bye-polls for Boxanagar and Dhanpur assembly constituencies.”

The event was attended by Finance Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy, MLA of Mata Bari Assembly constituency Abhishek Debroy, and other dignitaries.
