Agartala: August 10. Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) has introduced ten water tankers for the benefit of the people living in and around Agartala city.
While speaking with the reporters, AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder said that as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav the Agartala Municipal Corporation has launched 10 water tankers that can contain 1 thousand liters of water each for the benefit of people living in and around the Agartala.
“In Agartala city there is a demand of drinking water in any programme like wedding, religious programme or etc and apart from these if people are facing drinking water problem due to some technical issues we can provide water to them through this water tanker”, said Dipak.
He further said that during the then government they launched only five water tankers among which one can carry 3thousand liter and another one 10 thousand liter tanker.
“We have promised that we will fulfill the demands of the people and so we launched these five tankers. In coming days also we will launch more for the benefit of the people living in Agartala Municipal Corporation”, the Mayor added.
