GB Pant Hospital neglect garbage woes amidst patient complaints

Date:

BY TC News Desk

Agartala, 23rd November 2023:  In a shocking revelation, the GB Pant hospital in the state, is facing severe criticism as hospital authorities continue to turn a blind eye to ongoing complaints about the deteriorating conditions.

Patients and their families have expressed growing concerns over the indifference displayed by hospital officials, who seem more focused on weekly press conferences than addressing pressing issues.

Meanwhile, a similar tale of neglect unfolds at GB Hospital, where a pile of garbage wrapped in packets sits in front of the mortuary, creating an unbearable stench that permeates the neighborhood. The situation has escalated to the point where it is hindering the daily lives of residents, making it impossible for them even to pass a deceased loved one’s body in front of their homes.

Disturbing reports from routine hospital visitors reveal a longstanding garbage pile at the morgue entrance, leaving patients’ families sickened by the noxious smell. Questions arise about the contents of the packet-wrapped corpses left unattended at the hospital entrance. The fluid seeping from these packets adds to the concerns, as the unhealthy hospital environment poses a serious risk to public health.

Despite numerous complaints, cleaning workers have seemingly ignored the hazardous waste, deepening the mystery surrounding its nature and origin. The community is left questioning why hospital authorities are neglecting their duty to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and their families.

As the crisis deepens, demands for urgent action to address these unsanitary conditions and prioritize patient well-being are echoing throughout the state.
