One month old baby gone missing, family alleges abduction

Agartala, 21st December 2023:  In a harrowing incident that unfolded today morning, the Kanchan Palli area near Agartala Railway Station of the capital was gripped by tension and fear as news of the abduction of one-month-old infant Sanu Das, the son of residents Kishan Das and Purnima Das, spread like wildfire.

Purnima Das, the distraught mother, recounted the heart-wrenching details of the incident. After feeding her baby, Sanu Das, early in the morning, Purnima left him asleep on the bed while she attended to household chores, including cleaning the dishes. Upon her return, she was devastated to find Sanu Das missing from his usual spot.

Immediately raising the alarm, Purnima informed her family, including her husband Kishan Das, about the abduction. A frantic search ensued, with family members and concerned neighbors scouring the area for any sign of the missing infant. Unfortunately, their efforts proved futile, and Sanu Das remained unaccounted for.

In a swift response, the local police were alerted to the situation and promptly arrived at the scene. The authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abduction, hoping to trace the whereabouts of the missing child.

The incident has left the residents of Kanchan Palli in a state of shock and distress, with many expressing their concern and solidarity with the grieving family.
