Agartala, January 02: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik inaugurated a camp under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Prati Ghore Sushasan 2.0 campaign at Damdamiya SB School Grounds in Bamutia Block on Tuesday.
The camp, organized by Devendranagar Gram Panchayat, showcased various development projects initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for public welfare and self-reliance. Bhowmik said that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was aimed at reaching out to the people of the rural towns and informing them about the vision of the Prime Minister to build a developed India by 2047.
The camp was attended by Bamutia Panchayat Samiti Chairman Shila Das Sen, Vice-Chairman Pooja Malakar, former MLA Krishnadhan Das, SDM of Mohanpur sub-division Subhash Datta and West Tripura District ADM Subhash Chandra Saha, who delivered the welcome address.
Bhoumik also launched the Yatra of the mobile publicity vehicle that carried information on Central Flagship Projects under Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Exhibition stalls were opened by various departments in the camp to display their schemes and services.
