Agartala, January 20: After an extensive wait of 500 years, the highly awaited inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set to take place on January 22, marking a historic moment as the idol of Ram Lala is established. The citizens of the country are fervently looking forward to this significant day, which holds immense cultural and religious importance.
The idol of Ram Lala has already been reverently brought into the temple, heightening the anticipation surrounding the momentous event. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor, Dipak Majumdar, shared his thoughts on Saturday following his active participation in the Swachhta Abhiyan (Cleanliness Campaign).
In commemoration of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, and in alignment with the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a Swachhta Abhiyan was organized in various wards of Agartala Municipal Corporation. Ward No. 36 witnessed the initiative at the Shiv Mandir in Dakshin Joynagar, while Ward No. 34 participated in the cleanliness drive at the Shiva and Shani Mandir in Battala.
Mayor Majumder, speaking on this occasion, highlighted the significance of the forthcoming event. He emphasized that there are only two days left to wait, acknowledging the collective anticipation that has built up over many years across the entire nation. The Mayor expressed the sentiment that the entire country has been eagerly awaiting this auspicious day, underscoring the profound cultural and religious significance associated with the long-anticipated inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
