Agartala: August 23. As the state is ready to give a grand welcome to BJP’s president J P Nadda on August 28, 29, Information and Cultural Affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury today along with other BJP leaders made a visit to Khumulwng in TTAADC to inspect the preparedness.
On Facebook, ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury wrote that Bharatiya Janata Party All India President Jagat Prakash Nadda is arriving in state for two-day visit on August 28-29.
“A historic public meeting will be held at Khumulwng during his visit. To make this Jansabha historic in Khumulwng, today we visit the Jansabha site at Khumulwng and examine the preparations for the Jansabha stage and other preparations”, he said.
During the visit the minister was accompanied by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Assam and Tripura General secretary Phanindra Nath Sharma, Minister Rampada Jamatia, Tripura General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Tinku Roy, General Sampadika Papiya Dutta and others.
