TMC youth wings holds Raj Bhawan Abhiyan against high price rise, unemployment

Agartala: August 29. Tripura Pradesh Youth Trinamool Congress on Monday organized a large rally from Astabal Maidan to Raj Bhavan Abhiyan due to rising commodity prices and unemployment in the state.

Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress in-charge Rajiv Banerjee, All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, Tripura Pradesh Yuva Trinamool Congress President Santanu Saha, Yuva Trinamool Congress Vice President Neel Kamal Saha and other leaders were present in that rally. A large number of Trinamool Congress leaders and activists from Tripura state participated in this rally.

During this procession, the police stopped the procession after it proceeded for some time.

When the police tried to prevent the agitators to proceed further a scuffle took place between the Police personnel and TMC agitators.

The police arrested many leaders and activists including Santanu Saha.The Yuva Trinamool Congress claimed that the common man was facing constant hardship due to rising commodity prices and rampant unemployment in the state.

After the arrest of Tripura Pradesh Yuva Trinamool Congress President Santanu Saha, said, “We have been arrested by the police, but the police cannot stop the Raj Bhavan Abhiyan of the Yuva Trinamool Congress. In the coming days, the Tripura Pradesh Yuva Trinamool Congress will launch a larger movement for the sake of the youth of this state. “

During the rally, Tripura Trinamool Congress in-charge Rajiv Banerjee said, “Youth are not getting jobs, there is no food in their stomachs, there is anarchy in education, and there is no freedom, no democracy in the state. The TET passes aspirants is walking around in despair. In protest against such issues the Raj Bhavan Abhiyan is held by Yuva Trinamool Congress.”
