Agartala: August 29. Twenty-two people were injured in a horrific accident while returning home from the public meeting of JP Nadda in Khumulwng today. The incident happened in Khayerpur Bypass Kalitala area. Firefighters rescued the injured and brought them to GB Hospital. The injured are residents of Shyamnagar area of Booth No. 7 of Golaghati assembly constituency.
Those who are in critical condition were immediately rescued and brought to GB Hospital. Doctors believe that the condition of seven of the injured is critical. None of the injured could say how the accident happened. However, it is believed that the accident occurred in a collision between two vehicles. All the injured are under treatment at GB Hospital Trauma Center.
Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik rushed to GB Hospital to meet the injured BJP workers who met with an accident and came under attack by TIPRA motha workers.
Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, Pradesh BJP Vice President Patal Kanya Jamatia and other leaders rushed to GB Hospital this evening to see BJP workers undergoing treatment at GB Hospital.
