Infiltration from neighbouring country continues unabated in Bengal : Shah

) Stating that illegal entry from the neighbouring country continued unabated in West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday assured the people of the state that once the BJP is voted to power, it would stop infiltration of people from Bangladesh.

Addressing an election rally in favour of BJP candidate Kartik Pal,

Shah said besides opposing the CAA, the Mamata Banerjee government prevented to having an AIMS in this North Dinajpur district, which was shifted to Kalyani.

” I assured you that once you vote the BJP candidates this time and ensure the third term for PM Narendra Modi in 2024, an AIMS will be set up in north Bengal, ” Shah said and appealed to the voters to make sure 30/35 seats for she saffron party.

In the past ten years Modi worked for the poor people and the Centre was carrying distribution of ration for some 80 crore of people, has set up 12 crore toilets, over four crore PM awas yojana, distributed ten crore Ujala gas and extended potable water to over 14 households across the country.

Shah said to ensure Bengal free from violence , “We need PM

Modi once again.”

He said the state was only one in the country where some 200 people were murdered in Panchayat poll 2023 and bloody violence took place in each and every poll held in the state under the TMC regime.

turned into Sandeshkhali for mothers and sisters, (Mati) is being

converted into a shelter for

Bangladeshi and Manus is being murdered and being corrupted, ” Shah explained.

He said the TMC leaders, who used to stay in small homes, have now built 4/5 storey high rises and owned costly vehicles owing to having ill gotten money.

Shah said the central funds were siphoned off.

He said corruption was everywhere in Bengal.

” Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee is now in jail after the central

agency seized Rs 51 crore from his houses. The TMC still did not

suspend him from the party, ” Shah pointed out.

Raiganj along with Darjeeling, and Balurghat Lok Sabha seats goes to second phase poll on April 26.

Earlier in the day after completing a roadshow for two BJP candidates Sreerupa Mitra Chowdhury (Malda Dakshin) and Khagen Murmu ( Malda Uttar), Shah accused Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of opposing granting Indian citizenship to the refugees – Hindu, Buddhists, Christians and Sikhs – now settled here after arriving from neighbouring Bangladesh.

Shah said none can prevent granting Indian (CAA) citizenship to those Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Christians.He said the alleged corruption in the state was rampant and development funds were siphoned off and even Rs 50 to Rs 75 crore have been seized from the state ministers’ houses in Bengal.Shah urged the people to vote in favour of the “Lotus” symbol, saying this would go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure his third term for the NDA government at the Centre.He also reminded the people that in the 2019 Lok Sabha poll BJP candidate from Malda Dakshin lost by a mere 5000 votes but this time the electors must press the “Lotus” button on May 7 and ensure win for Sreerupa Mitra Chowdhury by over 50,000 votes.Shah appealed to the voters in West Bengal to ensure the BJP’s win in at least 30 seats out of 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state.Earlier, Shah along with the candidate on a open hooded truck conducted a roadshow where thousands of BJP supporters defying the heat and scorching sun took part.
