Agartala, 3rd July 2024:   Khowai Mandal organized the ‘Matdata Abhinandan Yatra’ at the Khowai New Town Hall on Wednesday noon. BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, party state general secretary Bipin Debbarma, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Mandal President Subrata Majumdar, District General Secretary Samir Kumar Das and Municipal Council Chairman Debasish Nath Sharma were present.

Addressing the gathering, Bhattacharjee emphasized the importance of recognizing and honoring the voters who played a pivotal role in the BJP’s success. “Elections come and go, but often, the leaders forget the voters who made their victories possible. The BJP is different in this respect. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed office for the third time, he initiated the ‘Matdata Abhinandan Yatra’ to honor those tireless voters who brought him to power,” Bhattacharya stated.

The event was also attended by booth presidents from 52 booths in Khowai sub-division, Prishtha Pramukh and various party march coordinators. Bhattacharjee extended his heartfelt thanks to all Khowai sub-division voters, acknowledging their significant contribution to the BJP’s historic win in the state. “Tripura has set a record with an unprecedented Lok Sabha election result, gifting both seats in the state to Modiji by a huge margin of votes,” he added.

This ‘Matdata Abhinandan Yatra’ underscores the BJP’s commitment to recognizing the invaluable efforts of its supporters, aiming to strengthen the bond between the party and its voters.
