Tripura BJP condemns spreading of misinformation regarding Ranirbazar incident

Agartaka, 27th August 2024:  The Tripura BJP on Tuesday strongly condemned attempts by certain political parties to spread confusion about the Ranirbazar incident. The party’s general secretary Amit Rakshit urged the opposition to refrain from engaging in such cheap politics. He emphasized that there is no culture of breaking temples or mosques within the state of Tripura, despite any instances that may have been observed in neighboring countries.

Meanwhile, the BJP state chief spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty announced the names of newly appointed Sabhadipatis and Saha-Sabhadipatis for the eight Zilla Parishads in Tripura. The BJP extended greetings and congratulations to the appointees. Additionally, the name of the newly appointed chairman for 34 out of 35 Panchayat Samitis in the state was also announced, with well wishes and congratulations for those whose names were revealed.
