Uttar Pradesh CM Criticizes Congress for India’s Partition, credits PM for Tripura’s progress

Agartala, 16th September 2024:  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed sharp criticism at the Congress party, accusing them of orchestrating the partition of India and favoring the Muslim League during the Independence struggle.

His remarks came during the inauguration of the Siddheswari Mandir and the foundation-laying ceremony for the Ved Vidyalaya at Barkathal, Mohanpur Sub-Division in West Tripura District.

Adityanath argued that the Congress’s actions led to the creation of Pakistan, which he described as a “cancer” afflicting the region. He asserted that the present “double-engine government” is committed to the holistic development of Tripura and the country. Reflecting on the current state of Bangladesh, he emphasized the importance of maintaining religious and cultural integrity.

“We must remember that protecting our dharma ensures its protection of us,” Adityanath said. “Sacrificing dharma for personal gains results in adverse consequences. Our efforts align with the vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,’ guided by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

The Chief Minister referenced the foresight of the RSS in 1925, which predicted the division of the country and the ensuing violence against Hindus. He contended that Congress’s actions were motivated by political expediency and resulted in significant harm to the nation’s traditions.

“Tripura has transformed significantly,” Adityanath noted, highlighting the development of national highways, housing schemes, and other infrastructural improvements. He contrasted this with the situation in Bangladesh, asserting that the conditions there serve as a reminder of the consequences of divisive policies and the importance of national unity.
