Agartala, 5th October 2024: For the welfare of journalists, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has announced that the government has allocated Rs 78 lakh for the installation of a lift at the Agartala Press Club.
Speaking to reporters, Dr. Saha said, “There has been a longstanding demand for the installation of a lift at the Agartala Press Club. Today, I have signed the file. We will spend approximately Rs 78 lakh on this project. The government has taken this decision for the welfare of journalists.” He also mentioned that many people have faced difficulties due to the lack of a lift, and the work will commence soon.
