Educating youth about Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s legacy is crucial: MoS Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya

Agartala, 15th November 2024:   Union minister of state for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya on Friday inaugurated the fourth ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ at Ambassa Town Hall in Dhalai district where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inaugural speech on ‘Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan’ was broadcast live.

In Dhalai district, MoS Nimuben Bambhaniya was accompanied by Sabhadipati of Dhalai Zilla Parishad Susmita Das, MLA Swapna Das Pal, MDC Bhumika Nanda Reang and District Magistrate Saju Vaheed A.

Addressing the ceremony at town hall, Minister Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya emphasized the importance of educating the current generation about the life and history of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

“The central government has organized such events to enlighten the youth about the legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The government of India and the Tripura state government are paying special attention to the development of the northeastern region,” she said. She also highlighted the ongoing development work across the country under the message of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Bikash.”

During the event, beneficiaries of the PMAY scheme received house construction approval letters, Ayushman cards, and forest land titles from the Minister. “We are committed to ensuring that all beneficiaries receive the necessary support and benefits,” said Minister Bambania.

The event saw a significant turnout from the local community, reflecting the public’s interest and support for the initiatives. The ceremony highlighted the government’s dedication to the development and upliftment of tribal communities in the region.
