Agartala, 29th December 2024: A severe accident took place near Bagma Bazar on the Agartala-Sabroom National Highway late last night. A VIP Suzuki car bearing registration number TR03R-0421, traveling from Agartala to Udaipur crashed into a truck parked on the side of the road and fell into the accident cable of the National Highway around midnight.
Hearing the loud noise, local residents rushed to the scene to rescue the injured. The fire brigade was informed, but before the fire engine could arrive, three accident victims were transported to Gomati District Hospital in another car.
The prompt response from the locals was crucial in ensuring the injured received immediate medical attention. The authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the accident and the circumstances leading up to it.
