Mega blood donation and health camp held at PM-SHRI Sekerkote HS School

Agartala, 8th January 2025 :   A one-day mega blood donation camp and a two-day health camp were organized at PM-SHRI Sekerkote Higher Secondary School under Kamalasagar assembly constituency.

The event was inaugurated by State Police Crime and Intelligence DIG Krishnendu Chakraborty in presence of Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manik Lal Das, Dukli Block Chairman Bulan Saha, School Headmaster Santosh Kumar Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Headmistress Shibani Das, SMC Committee Chairman Sudhir Chandra Das, and local social workers, students and guardians.

DIG Krishnendu Chakraborty kicked off the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The students of the school performed the opening song, adding a cultural touch to the event. The guests toured the blood donation and health camp, appreciating the efforts of the organizers.

“Organizing such a grand event is truly unparalleled. I encourage everyone, especially students, to take an interest in blood donation,” said DIG Krishnendu Chakraborty.

The camp aimed to promote health awareness and the importance of blood donation among the community. The event was marked by significant participation from local residents and school members, highlighting the spirit of community service and cooperation.
