Agartala, 27th January 2025: In a serious accident yesterday afternoon, three youths were critically injured when their bike collided with an electric pole in the Jampuijala-Takarajala Road, Jampuijala Bank Chowmuni Karanpara area. The incident took place on Republic Day causing significant concern among locals.
Eyewitnesses reported that the three youths were thrown onto the road after their bike hit the electric pole. Locals, alarmed by the loud noise, immediately rushed to the scene and alerted the Takarajala Fire Brigade. The fire brigade promptly arrived and transported the injured youths, identified as Kathar Jamatia, Manojit Debbarma and Prohor Debbarma to the Takarajala Primary Health Center.
Due to the critical condition of Manojit Debbarma, he was urgently referred to GBP Hospital for further treatment. Upon receiving the news, the Jampuijala Outpost Police Station personnel also rushed to the spot. However, they did not find the bike involved in the accident, as it was unregistered and had been removed by locals before the police arrived.
