Agartala, 28th January 2025: A 20-year-old employee of a sweet shop in Badharghat has died under mysterious circumstances after being hit on the head. The deceased, Jiban Ghosh, had been working at the sweet shop for 20 years, but his son has alleged that his father was murdered.
According to the details of the incident, Jiban Ghosh, whose house is in Vishalgarh, worked at a factory owned by the sweet shop’s owner in Joynagar. On January 15, Jiban’s family received news that he had suffered a head injury and was admitted to GB Hospital. Tragically, he died this morning while undergoing treatment.
The son of the deceased claimed, “My father was murdered. A few days ago, he had a fight with a person working in the factory. Shortly after that, on January 15, he suffered a serious head injury.” He also pointed out, “The most surprising thing is that the shop owner did not visit my father at GB Hospital once from January 15 until his death on Tuesday. He did not even pay a single rupee.”
The family members have demanded a proper investigation into the incident, filing a case with the police station. They are seeking a fair trial to uncover the truth behind Jiban Ghosh’s death.
