Agartala, 31st January 2025: In a significant step towards bolstering industrial infrastructure, Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCL) Chairman Nabadal Banik laid the foundation stone for the first logistics park in the Dukli Industrial Area today. Speaking at the event, Banik emphasized the park’s potential to usher in a new era of industrial growth and development in the state.
“TIDCL is committed to strengthening the industrial infrastructure in Tripura. The establishment of this logistics park will provide state-of-the-art storage, warehousing, and transportation facilities, benefiting businesses both inside and outside the industrial area,” said Chairman Banik.
The Bhuturia Logistics Park Private Limited will be developed on 16.21 acres of land in the Dukli Industrial Area. The project will be executed in two phases, with a total investment of Rs 200 crore. In the second phase, a warehouse covering 1,30,000 square feet will be constructed at a project cost of Rs 120 crore.
Social worker Uttam Das, former minister Billal Mia, social worker Shubhrajit Das and Paschim Tripura Zilla Parishad member Prasenjit Ghosh were among those present at the event. The program was presided over by Dr. Sukumal Kanti Ghosh, Principal-in-charge of Kabi Nazrul College.
The logistics park is expected to provide cutting-edge storage and warehousing solutions, significantly boosting the region’s industrial capabilities and supporting local businesses in their growth and development.
