50 Afghan children released by Pak return homeland

A total of 50 Afghan children who illegally entered Pakistan have been returned to their homeland Afghanistan, media reported

In search of jobs in Pakistan, some children as young as 10 were returned to Afghanistan via the Torkham crossing, the media outlet added.

Pakistan has set free hundreds of Afghans from jails and sent them back to their homeland over the past year.

More than 2 million Afghans reportedly have been living in Pakistan. Pakistani authorities have asked Afghans without legal travel documents and resident permits to leave the country.
