Three booked with narcotics at Udaipur, handed over to police

Agartala, 26th March 2025:    In the midst of the state government’s initiative to build a drug-free community, residents of Udaipur played a pivotal role in identifying and stopping suspicious activities. On Wednesday, locals at the northern bank of Jagannath Dighi in Udaipur detained three youths after suspecting their behavior. Upon questioning, the residents discovered a significant quantity of narcotic tablets in their possession.

The residents promptly informed the police of Radha Kishorepur Police Station, who swiftly arrived at the scene. The three individuals were taken into custody, and a motorbike was seized during the operation.

According to police sources, the detainees have been identified as Jalil Mia (39), a rickshaw puller from Rajarbari, Udaipur; Royel Hossain (25); and Rakesh Pal (34). All three are currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
