Agartala Press Club exchanges view with delegates of sub-divisional press club

Agartala: October 30. A courtesy exchange meeting was held today with the presidents and secretaries of all press clubs of sub- division level under the initiative of Agartala Press Club. Almost all the presidents and secretaries were present in today’s exchange meeting organized at the Agartala Press Club.

Besides, Agartala Press Club President Subal Kumar Dey, Vice President Arun Nath and Secretary Pranab Sarkar and other members of the Executive Committee were present. Various constructive issues were discussed in detail in today’s meeting. Agartala Press Club will demand from the state government to provide permanent place for those sub-divisional press clubs who do not have any permanent place. Apart from this, Agartala Press Club will also demand from the state government for an annual government grant of Rs 1 lakh. 

In today’s meeting, there was a detailed discussion on how to improve the office infrastructure of the sub-division press clubs that have a permanent place. At the end of the meeting, Agartala Press Club gave flowers and mementos to the representatives. Note that for the first time, Agartala Press Club has organized a courtesy meeting with the President and Secretaries of all the Sub-Divisional Press Club.
