Agartala, 2nd May 2025: The ICFAI University Tripura unveiled its prospectus for the academic year 2025–26 through a press conference held at the Agartala Press Club on the evening of April 30 2025. The event was led by Prof. (Dr.) Biplab Halder, Vice Chancellor of the University, along with other senior dignitaries .
The University announced the availability of prospectuses for a total of 59 professional programs across diverse disciplines, including Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), English, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Management, Hospital Administration, Commerce, Law, Education, Special Education, Physical Education, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Yoga and more.
While addressing the media, Prof. (Dr.) Biplab Halder highlighted that seven new academic programs have been introduced for the 2025–26 session, aiming to cater to evolving industry demands and enhance student opportunities.
The newly launched programs are: B.Sc. in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence; B.A. in Economics; B.Sc. in Economics; M.A. in Economics; M.Sc. in Economics; Integrated B.A. B.Ed. in Special Education (Visually Impaired); and Executive MBA.
The Vice Chancellor proudly intends that the University has completed 20 years of excellence in professional education since its inception in June 2004. Over the years, ICFAI University Tripura has built a strong track record of student placements through campus drives by leading national and multinational companies. Students also benefit from the N.J. Yasaswy Memorial Merit Scholarship, Scholarship Department supports students in availing various State, Central, and institutional scholarships, benefiting nearly 45% of the student population.
To ensure accessibility, the University operates 28 buses for student transportation. Additionally, the second phase of campus expansion, designed to accommodate an additional 10,000 students, is underway. ICFAI University Tripura has consistently recognized high rankings in national surveys such as GHRDC, INDIA TODAY-MDRA, OUTLOOK INDIA, BUSINESS TODAY, CAREER 360, and Nature Index . IUT spread across a 32-acre campus, the University offers a modern learning environment with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and smart classrooms that meet the latest educational standards. Notably, it is also recognized as a Jio True 5 G-enabled campus.
