Agartala, 8th March 2025 : The Higher Education Department of Tripura has announced the cancellation of summer vacation for general degree colleges, professional colleges, and technical institutes across the state.
According to an official notification, the summer break—scheduled from May 9 to June 3—will not be observed this year. Instead, colleges will remain open during this period, with semester exams, admission procedures, and regular classes continuing as per schedule.
To accommodate faculty members, the department has assured that teachers will be granted earned leave in place of the cancelled vacation.
The decision is expected to streamline academic activities and ensure timely completion of the academic calendar.
